I have a logo that was created in AI. I have imported it into AE and am now wondering if there is a way I can utilize Ray-Traced 3D to extrude the vector image (which is primarily text-based). I tried to use it, but the only two options that appear are Curvature and Segments. Thanks!

New in CS6, you can convert vector layers to shapes:

You probably want to split up the Illustrator graphic into multiple layers (one for each object you'd like to independently control in Ae), import it as a composition, and separately convert each vector layer to shapes.

You can then extrude the shapes with the ray-traced 3D renderer.
