Are there shortcut keys in After Effects to move the playhead one frame forward/back (equivalent to the right- and left-arrow keys in Premiere Pro)? I looked through the list of AE shortcuts but could not find it. Thank you.

Page up and Page Down. Shift+Page Up or Down will move you 10 frames.

Page Up / Page Down will move you up or down the sequence one frame at a time.

Shift-Page Up / Shift Page Down will move you 10 frames up or down in the sequence.

Also, another handy short cut to know is...

While having a layer or multiple layers selected you can use Option (Alt-PC) Page Up / Page Down to move those layer(s) up or down in the timeline. (Adding Shift will again move them by 10 frames.)

Since we're on the subject, another handy one is to use OPT-LEFT ARROW (or RIGHT) to nudge selected keyframes one frame at a time.

John's got you covered for the main Timeline. However, in the Rotobrush timeline, use the 1 and 2 keys, on the main keyboard, to advance one frame back and forward, respectively.

You said that you couldn't find the shortcuts in After Effects Help. They are in this section:
