I've searched all over but found very few posts related to this issue but have found it to be a pretty common one.
I am working on a pretty complex animation/motion graphics project that uses lots of shape layers drawn in after effects. In some cases when the scale of these shape layers is animated (Especially slow subtle scale changes) in the final render the edges of the shapes appear to pulse and shift by a pixel or so as the object grows.
I assume this might be due to some aliasing issue involved in continuously rasterizing the layer.
I know I haven't provided many specifics to what I am working on, but I tested the issue in the simplest way possible, drawing a box and animating a very slow scale increase, and I still encounter the issue.
Basically I am wondering...
- What causes this issue?
- Is there a simple fix?
Any info someone can provide on the issue would be greatly appreciated.
