Hi everyone,
I have a project where I want to drop peices of fruit into an aquarium tank of water, and have the splash in super slo-mo. I have the budget to rent a Weisscam HS-2 for the day. I was thinking of recording 1000 fps in HD, with the HD SDI out to a Panasonic P2 recorder with 64gig cards.
Perhaps someone with a bit of experience in this can give me a quick rundown on the workflow.
How does AE handle these huge amounts of frames? And do you simply use the time remap function, or is there another way to set up comps?
Any tips, tricks or pitfalls explained is appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Simon

Thanks Vishesh, that was helpful.
This (working with high speed cameras) is all new to me, but Im confident enough in my general production knowledge to take this stuff on. What I dont know, I can learn, which makes this website such an important tool for me.
I had to laugh about Daves comments in that thread though. Dave is always helpful, and has helped me personally a few times over the years, for which I am thankfull. But I cant help but think of him sometimes as the salty old neighbour, that all the kids in the street fear a little bit...
Dave, dont take that the wrong way, it was witten with my tongue in my cheek, so to speak.
