I'm compositing a laser, this laser is being shot by a little robot that is giving the back to the camera.

I'm using VideoCopilot Optical Flares to do so, but I didn't find a way to solve my doubt and problem: when the laser should be hitting the wall in background, the flare reacts as if it was shot TOWARDS the camera.

I did mask the light to be behind the little robot but the effects it's clearly fake, is there any way to tell the Plugin to consider a point to be the source of the light that is pointing towards a given direction?

Lens flares are basically reflected light hitting a camera lens, they always point towards the camera. No way to really turn them around. You will have to play with the options to make a flare that is more subtle to create the realism you are trying to achieve.

You might want to go with a smaller flare and use the beam effect for the actual laser.
