I've made a mistake today and purchased an After Effects project file for CS5.5 and later, I have CS5.
I understand that After Effects is not backward compatible but I have read that if this file was opened within a CS5.5 version that it could be saved as a usable format within CS5.
My question is would anybody that has CS5.5 be kind enough to do this for me? Unfortunately the only other person I know has CS6.
The project file is 12.8mb in size.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can also just download the trial version of After Effects CS5.5 and do this yourself.

There are direct download links to the CS5.5 trial verisons here:

Yes, those links are to the Adobe download servers. The ProDesign Tools website has just done everyone the favor of collecting them all in a convenient location.
