Hopefully I can describe this well enough that it makes sense.

It seems likely a system problem but is manifesting itself in AE and affecting CS4, CS5.5 and CS6.

For starters, I am running osX 10.6.8, 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 14 GB of ram.

The problem is that I am unable to select (highlight) individual plugin parameters in the Effects Control Panel (ie.- Position XY in Particular or Blurriness in Gaussian Blur). The stopwatch, sliders, parameter value and everything else are selectable and can be modified. I just can't click and select the text for the parameter. I can select it in the timeline panel however, so I'm using that as a workaround for now.

I have tried trashing preferences, using a different mouse, connecting the mouse directly to the port on my tower (rather than keyboard port) and restarting my computer... all to no avail.

If anyone has a solution or idea, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob

Are you talking of these parameter that I have Highlighted in the image below?

You can't select these from Effects Panel. Just click on the Crosshair to select the parameter and change its value.

Thanks for the reply Vishesh.

I'm almost certain I've been able to highlight the individual parameters
(by clicking on the text) for functions such as copying and pasting.

This is not working for any of my plugins.

Bob

You can select any parameter from the Timeline and use the copy and paste function.

Don't think its possible for what you are looking for.
