I am working on a video and need to import some footage off an IPhone 4S into AE CS5 to edit.

Now my problem lies in the fact that when i insert the footage then insert it into my composition, my footage seems to just turn green; Audio is still present but all the visuals are like a green solid. The footage seems to have no problem playing in Windows media player, Adobe media player or quick time so I am wondering on what has gone wrong and how i can go about fixing it.

Any help at all would be wonderful, as I can't seem to find any help on this on the internet.

(the files are in .MOV format filmed at 1080p and I am editing at 720p)

Iphone records h.264 encoded MOV which uses temporal compression.
AE needs complete information for each and every frame.
This results in wide variety of problems.

I would suggest you to export the file using Adobe Media Encoder with a different codec.
