So I'm trying to put together a short teaser trailer... more or less because I feel like it and I'm just starting out with AE and have been watching hours and hours of tutorials and playing around with the program but have a very specific effect I would like to try out but not quite sure how:

I have a precomp layer with 3 lines of text and a graphic that I have used CC Pixel Polly to explode outward into pieces. I would like to take those pieces at a suitable point in the effect and then reverse them to bring them back into a different line of text as a transitional effect.

How would I go about doing that?

Thanks for the assistance!

Thanks! Got the reverse time mapping down, looks nice! Having a heck of a time on one thing though... how do I map the exploded particles in the reverse time portion of the effect to properly flow into the new text? I've been hunting a large portion of the evening and not finding any real information on how to map those particles to the text. I'm sure there's a simple command but being a newbie havent been able to locate it yet. thanks again,
