 | Follow Animated Stroke

Dear CreativeCow users
I am new to adobe after effects and i have a problem:
i have animated a line from the left to the right. I want to connect pictures and words with this line.
My problem: I want that the camera follow the animated line, but i have no idea how to do that. Do i have to make the solid real big and keyframe the camera by hand?
I think there has to be a much easier way to do that.
I hope somebody can help me.
thank you & greetings

Try to use 3D stroke or a Shape Layer, the Effect>Generate>Stroke effect will pixelate if the camera gets too close. Another tip is to use a single-node camera as it is a lot easier to navigate with. And yes, you will need to keyframe the camera's position to follow the stoke.
