So I have this premade background(free to use,not using it for commercial purposes anyway) im using and it has many elements I want to animate
(image is large)

At the moment I'm trying to figure out how to anime the lava thats already there,I cant find a tut anywhere

I've also been playing with Particular to try and simulate lava shooting up but its odd that i cant get it to look like it.It shoots in the right direction however.

I also am trying to achieve a lava "mulch" (not sure of the proper term, when the lava crashes against something similar to a wave i suppose and it has that gooey look to it) and i dont even know where to start with that.

Any help/pointers?
