Can After Effects track a video that pans more than 180 degrees?
I have a video where I want to put a text on a wall but the video is panning from left to right and the track point will appear and then disappear from view after panning.

Can After Effects do this?

Hi Johnedel

----- this should be an easy one

--- the way to do this is to re-position the tracking reference to another point as the one you are using goes out of frame.

-- not done this in AE myself but I know this can be done because I have seen it in one of Andrew Kramers tutorials on Video Copilot.

--- sorry I cant give you the exact details but I can advise you that it is possible.
