Thanks in advance for anyone who helps me solve this problem I've been trying to figure out for a while

So I'm trying to mask out a moving character in after effects, I cut up the clip every time the character moves then I mask it out. But if I want to have a break and carry on with the mask the next day..

This happens:

Then this..

Then this.

So as you can see, my masked frame is moving on to the next frame too quickly, and I just can't figure out a way to stop this from happening..I've tried searching Google and here too but I can't find anything.
Help is really appreciated! Thanks

p.s Sorry if the Images are too big

Cutting a video into a series of frames and individually masking each one is not a good approach to rotoscoping. You are almost certain to get some nasty edge chatter.

Check out Adobe's Rotoscoping introduction and resources page [link], and check out Scott Squire's links, too.

To answer your direct question, though, it doesn't seem as if you've split the video at the right frames.
