Lighting issue on rigged character

Hi there,

Please see attached screen grab. As you can see when using lights to cast shadows on my rigged character i'm getting these annoying shadows where the joints meet. Can anyone offer a reason for this and a possible workaround?

Thanks

Scott

I'm pretty sure you have each layer of the runner set to both cast and accept shadows. If you turn of Accepts Shadows, the problem should go away.

Scott

It seems that the shadows are forming where the two layers overlap each other.

If you Turn off the Receive shadows of the layers which are below the top layers, the shadows will not be there.
