Reveling original image from your Rotor in AE

Hello,

I am having a problem with an effect I am trying to do. I am Rotoring a 30 seconds clip so I can reveal the original background later. How do I go about revealing the original background that I rotored? I

Put the clip you rotoscoped on the the top layer in the comp. Put the same clip with no roto work below it. You can animate opacity, animate a mask... any of a number of things to reveal it.

If you are using Mask Tool for Roto then you can Animate the the "Mask Shape " also. Just when you want to reveal the BG, Increase the size of mask as big as comp size.

Other way as Dve told you, Duplicate the main layer and use it as BG. You can use " Dissolve Transition " for the BG.
