If I want to jump forward or backward in the time layout window, I hold shift-control-arrow. The same for nudging keyframes. This is great for 30fps comps, but currently working on a 24fps project and I have no sense of how far i'm moving things in time. I'd like to change the default to something like 6 frames, or 12 frames. I seem to remember a script, or a hack to the prefs file, but can't seem to find any info on it. Does anyone know how to modify this default for jumping in time and nudging keyframes?

There may be a setting in AE Preferences for it. You should check.
