Splitting audio from a source file with 2 audio tracks?

So, I've got a gameplay video recorded with Dxtory. Apparently it records 2 audio lines and combines them into one somehow. I am recording game audio, as well as microphone input for voice chatter.

Anyways, is it possible to split something like this up? I know you can do it with Vegas, but was hoping it was possible with AE.

If the audio is split-track (stereo audio with gameplay left and chatter right, or vice-versa) you can use the Stereo Mixer effect [link].

However, since nothing is real-time in Ae, I think it's almost always better to process your audio elsewhere.
