Hi hello,

I was wondering if someone has any suggestions to avoid the huge amount of RAM that rotobrush use.

anytime I am using Rotobrush my projects slow a lot.

any idea to improve this??

Many thanks

I'm sorry, but that's just how Rotobrush works. You need a lot of RAM. I think it's a small price to pay when comparing its use to rotoscoping by hand.

I see. My computer is working on 8 gigas of ram, how much do you think could be a good average for working with rotobrush?

I was thinking maybe it could be a good idea exporting the video on a alpha channel or setting up a proxy.

Thanks Dave

I find 24 GB is adequate for my needs. Many power users have more.

It's difficult to respond to your idea of rendering with an alpha channel; we don't know how you would use this footage once you render it.
