Hello!
We just upgraded to Production Premium CS6.
I encountered strange thing while using "Trim Comp to Work Area" in AE CS6.
After trimming composition the first frame ins't 0:00:00:00 byt its shows the oryginal duration of the oryginal comp.

Her's a print screen

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7221156/trim_bug.gif

It's confiusing because it's hard to see what ist the acutall length of my composition.
And when exporting to image sequance the first frame isn't "0000.*"

Does any one else ancountered the same problem?
Or it's a new feature??

Best regards
Paul

It's a new feature. CS5.5 and above have improved handling of timecode in comps. Preserving timecode like this can be very useful for matching shots back in editorial.

However, if you need your trimmed sequence to start at zero, simply change the Start Timecode in the Composition Settings window (Ctrl-K on PC, Cmd-K on Mac) back to zero.

Thanks for a reply.
I jumped from cs5, so.. :)
It all depends on user workflow.. for somebody it will be useful for another annoying. :) You can't make everyone happy ;)

Too bad they didn't make option for turning it on and off.

I found a solution suitable for me:)
I changed the time-display to "frames" (as main) and below it shows time code from 0:00:00:00
