Hey guys!
I've been looking for a while on how to create shortcuts for your most commonly used effects in After Effects. You can do it in a whole lot of other programs, it is hard to believe AE doesn't have such thing.
Example:

Curves effects - Ctrl + Alt +1
Glow - Ctrl + Alt +2
ect.

I'll be greatful for some help. 10q.

This is possible via scripting. You can create a script that adds an effect you use a lot:

And then set a keyboard shortcut for it via the "Keyed Up" script.

Or you can use the ft-Toolbar script to create buttons for your oft-used effects:
