Well hello there.

I have recreated a series of star constellations from "Skyrim" using 3D Spheres and Boxes in Cinema 4D (see attached picture)

I have then exported the video of my camera flying through the 3D object, and popped it in After Effects.

I was wondering how I can track an optical flare to each of the objects in my scene? (so each sphere and each cube)

Thank you!

try to replace your spheres and cubes (though i can't see them(edges?)) with lights, export that with "include 3d data" checked. see if C4D sends to AE the light's positions... then on AE switch optical flares to track lights.

I haven't tried that, but if you can provide feedback I'm sure we will find something out.

Thanks, that seems like the way to go, now I just need to figure out how to replace each one of the spheres!

I used the C4D xsSwitch script to replace all the spheres with lights, brought into After Effects et Viola!

RESULTS!

Thanks!
