Shayne RoweFootage cut off after interpretation

I have some .mov files (h264) that are about 25 minutes a piece at 29 fps. I am using these files in a video that runs at 24 fps (editing in premiere) so after importing I interpreted all of the footage to match my projects 24 fps. This works fine, but when I import these videos into After Effects and interpret them there (or bring them into aftereffects via dynamic link) it reduces the duration of my footage to about 22minutes at 24fps which abruptly cuts off the clip partway through the episode. In premiere the clips are lengthened to about 32 minutes (which makes sense due to the change in frame rate) so why does after effects cut them off? It does not do this to any of my other footage that I handle in the same manor (even another patch of episodes that are also in the same format)?
