Controlling opacity of a layer depending on position of Null

Hey everyone,

Right now I have several layers' opacities that I'd like to control by moving a Null object around. Right now I an expression on one of the shapes that looks like this:

t=610;
if (thisComp.layer("Null 4").transform.position[0] 0;
}else{
100;
}

This works great when the Null moves to the left, but I can't figure out how to make it disappear when I move the Null to the right of the layer. I'm new to expressions and feel like I'm leaving out something fairly obvious.
