Hello, I am fairly new to the practice of pre-rendering.

My HD project has a final target of H.264 .MP4.

Can I pre-render my nested comps to my final target (H.264 .MP4), or should I pre-render using something else (e.g., .MOV file format using Animation codec)?

Thanks!

Pre-renders are intermediate files to be used further down the production line. These should be compressed as little as possible or even none at all.
