I have all my assets, footage, projects and any other media within one main folder. I copied this folder from my MacPro to my macbook pro so I could work on it from home.

All of my media is disconnected. How do I tell After Effects where the file is that's missing? I'm used to Final Cut Pro in which I would select everything missing, right click and go to "re-connect media". What's the equivalent?

I realize that this should probably be posted in basics..

thanks

Right-cliick the footage item in the project panel and choose "Replace footage."

Like FCP, AE will automatically reconnect other media it finds in the same path.
