Is there a way to move by fractions of a frame? I am using trap code echo space and the layers that it creates do not start on actual frames. That is what I want it to do, but I am trying to add in other elements that match the timing of some of the created layers and I need them to start at fractions of a frame. I do not want to double my frame rate.

Too bad. You'll have to. However, once you've positioned your layers in time, you can immediately set the frame rate back as you had it before.

Of course, unless you render with fields, it won't make a difference if your layer begins mid-frame or at the start of the next frame.
