Rick JohnsonQuestion on 3D tracking specific objects

I have searched everywhere and have not figured out an answer to my question. I am currently working on a short film in which characters will be using flashlights to create trails of light (using Trapcode Partiular 2). The shots are hand held so I Have been using the Foundry's Camera Tracker inside of AE, but have not found a way to tell it to specifically track the light coming from the flashlights in the shots. My goal is to track in a 3D null object to which I can parent a light to act as the emmiter for Particular. If anyone knows of how I can achieve this I would be very greatful if you could help me out.

I use BouJou but I assume it's the same method.
1. solve the shot to make the camera yadda yadda
2. rough mask around the things moving one thing at a time
3. instead of track points use "track object?" is that even a thing in camera tracker? Should be an option in there when laying down points.
