hi

've encountered a problem while working on a recent project.

i want the output for DVD so 've set the composition to PAL DV Widescreen (1.46). But when i draw a circle or use text, the edges look jagged.

but if i copy the layers and paste in another composition with PAL DV Widescreen Square Pixel settings then the jaggedness is gone.

if i import the square pixel comp into PAL DV Widescreen 1.46 comp, then it again becomes jagged.

plz let me know how to get rid of this jagged edges in non-square comps.

here's the screenshots ...

You are most likely previewing with pixel aspect ratio correction on. This tends to show the edges a bit jagged, but on the playback display it will look ok. If you want to be sure, you can always work at square pixel aspect ratio and squeeze the frame to PAL 16:9 par in the render queue.

Yes, try a test render; it should render out just fine.
Also, you can adjust the quality of the pixel aspect ratio correction in your comp window, if you want.
