I am compositing a scene with three actors, each shot seperately, against a dark background. In post, I notice that all of the "darks" are not the same temperature between the shots, so it doesn't appear that the three actors are standing side by side. I am wondering if there is a way to choose one of the dark backgrounds from either of the three, and somehow set it to the dark backgrounds from the other two actors, and the background color of the comp.
I attached a jpeg to show what im talking about.. Not sure if I am articulating the questions correctly...

Your JPEG didn't show up in your post.

Levels and the Info Panel will be your best friends in matching luminance/colors between/across clips. Pick the ideal clip to match to (or something else) and use Levels (while viewing individual Channels, if required) to make the necessary adjustments.
