Uneven jpeg frame sequence
on Oct 15, 2011 at 10:12:46 am

Hi,

I'm running Adobe After Effects CS4 on Windows 7.

I've imported a jpeg sequence (169 jpegs) at 4 frames per second therefore the movie clip is 42.25 seconds.
However, when I render out, the output is rubbish! The frames are not equal in terms of time, it's almost as though every fourth frame lasts slightly longer than the rest.

Why is this and how do I make every frame equal?

Hope someone can help??

1) Are your JPEGs sequenced correctly, ie without any break in their numbering?

2) How have you set the 4FPS setting?

Cheers

Another question in addition to Roland's: what is the frame rate of the comp you're outputting?
