Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could please help me out with this issue I'm having. I have this type with a single point perspective on it and I wanted to add motion to the perspective. In other words, I want the perspective point to move around the type in a circle. I apologize if I'm not clear, but I've attached an image of my storyboard to help illustrate.

Can anyone offer some advice on the best way I can approach this in After Effects?

Thank you so much in advance!

Tricky stuff. The solution will likely be a combination of creating duplicates and then linking the last copy to the dot. Then offsetting subsequent copies.

Expressions are your best bet. I suggest that you post this at the COW's AE Expressions forum.

I know Zaxwerks Serpentine can create that kind of 3d perspective - I haven't used it in a while and I can't remember if you can animate the start point while the end remains in the same position (or the other way around), but maybe it can help you:
