Browsing presets using Bridge

Hi
According to Adobe, you should be able to browse presets from Bridge
http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/AfterEffects/8.0/help.html?content=WS387852...

However, when I use Bridge to browse my presets all I see are .ffx icons

What gives?

Here's are basic questions:
Do you run AE 8?
If you don't, have you looked at the documentation for YOUR AE version?

Only some animation presets embed previews. Which animation presets are you trying to preview in Bridge?
