Andrew mentions in his tutorial
http://www.videocopilot.net/videostream/element3Dv2/

that Element 3d requires a graphics card with Open GL support.

I have a 2month old iMac iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 with a AMD Radeon HD 6970M GPU card.

Can anyone tell me if Element3d will run off this card?

You should ask the creator of the software if his software requires or supports certain hardware.

[jim bachalo] "Can anyone tell me if Element3d will run off this card?"

Element isn't out yet, and I haven't seen anything specific on system requirements yet.

If I remember well, in the presentation Andrew mentions that any of the newer (2-3 yr old) cards will do, even the low range ones. That is the power of Element 3D.
