Hello!

I have made an animating logo which is revealed using the mask tool. (I tried using the write-on effect but was having trouble with the brush size not revealing the whole image)

I have an adjustment layer that provides the logo yellow glow as it is being written out. However the adjustment layer appears to be spilling over into the glow effect of the logo too which I dont really want.

Its not too obvious in the low quality version ive uploaded but in the HD version it makes it look quite bad. Any suggestion on how I can get rid of this?

Thank-you

Justin

" the adjustment layer appears to be spilling over into the glow effect"

It's not really clear what you mean by that. Post a full resolution still and point out the issue. Technically and adjustment layer can't spill over into an effect...

I'm not totally clear on what you mean here, either -- but if you need to restrict the adjustment layer, you can mask it [link].

Okay if it is not possible for this to happen do you think I have done something wrong with my mask?

Thanks for your time I just cant seem to figure this one out.

So it's not a "spill" but you actually see the edge of a mask or layer- I'm not sure since I do not know your setup. If it's a mask you could feather the edge of the mask. If it's a layer- make it bigger.

It was a masking issue - I feathered the mask and all my troubles went away.

Thank-you so much
