I've spent the last couple of days trying to find an answer to this everywhere.

I'm working on a project which includes video footage shot on my 550d as well as some graphics panned over with a camera in After Effects.

Here's my problem - when I export my animations from AE (as ProRes 422 HQ, same format as the rest of my project) and export the entire video (including the 550d footage) from Final Cut Pro, I get judder on most of the graphics, but not the 550d footage.

The framerate is 25fps across all compositions and projects, I have tried numerous export formats and programs (including Adobe Media Encoder, Compressor) tried it in different qualities, and applied motion blur and frame blending, but nothing seems to help.

I'm not sure if it's a playback or render issue. When ram previewing the rendered (and re-imported into AE), the judder seems to be less visible. On the other hand, I've tried viewing the footage on different machines and it still seems to be there.

Im on a MacBook Pro Dual core 2.2 4GB RAM.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Is your footage interlaced?
Are you rendering progressive or interlaced?
What frame rate?

The footage is not interlaced, rendering progressive. Frame rate is 25. Thanks for your reply!
