Hi Guys,

What type of GPU will you recommend for AE CS3.
I have few of these choices.

Quadro 600, 1GB - $169
GTX460, 1GB - $169
GTS450, 1GB - $109

Thanks
Andy

[Andy Joseph] "What type of GPU will you recommend for AE CS3."

The GPU makes no difference to After Effects. AE renders on the CPU.

There are a few third-party effects that are able to render on the GPU, and it seems performance often scales with price.

Premiere Pro (in CS5 and CS5.5) is GPU-accelerated. If you're thinking about upgrading and you're a Premiere user, check out the list of supported cards [link].

No, as of now i do not work on premiere at all. Just suggest me a straight on solution for after effects. Which card ?

Straight solution was already given to you: it doesn't matter. AE does not render on the graphic card.

If you can see something on your computer screen, you have an onboard graphics card. If you're in the process of building your computer, just pick a card. Any of the ones you suggested should do.
Check this page [link] out for more information on what AE requires.
