Trying to render a 30 second comp with still pictures and a simple Z camera move on them.
Added a mojo effect + a denoiser effect on each photo. With or without effect, same problem.
Using Imac7i , after effects CS5 & OSX 10.6.7

it says:
After Effects error: Checkout ID must be non-negative (78::8)

looks tricky.

the multiple frame rendering is off and also I am still waiting for the new memory so the actual memory available on my machine is only 4GB only and the comp is in HD format.

[jean mathis] "After Effects error: Checkout ID must be non-negative (78::7)"

Here's the Mylenium Error Database page for error (78 :: 7) [link].

This popped up in a thread a couple weeks ago [link], too, with a different effect.

Can you disable one effect, then the other to see which one is causing the error?

You might also consider submitting a bug report to Adobe [link] and/or Red Giant support once you've got it narrowed down.

I checked the Mylenium link before posting this Walter and as I said even with all effects turned off same problem happens. Have no audio file neither in the comp, maybe its has something to do with my PS files.
I will check them out and post back.

[jean mathis] "as I said even with all effects turned off same problem happens"

Sorry, Jean -- I read right over that. Are you sure all effects everywhere are off? If I'm reading the error description correctly, this error should not be thrown unless an effect is invoked.

Have you installed all the updates to AE?

Looking at the PSDs sounds like a good idea -- maybe the problem lies with the PSD importer? If you flatten them to another image format, does it clear up the issue?

In any case, it's certainly a bug, and filing a report might help clear it up in future releases (even if it doesn't help you in your case now).

I succeeded, the solution was: rendering the comp first with mojo. Then reimporting the movie adding the MB denoiser effect and rendering it once more. It seems that MB denoiser works better when alone in the render pipeline.
