Looked around for a while for a solution to this before turning here, but I'm out of ideas. Can anyone offer any suggestions? I'm running After Effects CS5 on 64-bit Windows 7 via Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro. After Effects is throwing me an error on every single file I try to import.

The error is:

"could not convert Unicode characters. (23 :: 46)"

I've looked on multiple sites. One suggested that I copy the AMZ file for en_US over to the languages folder, tried that. Tried to reset after effects preferences on opening. I double checked that I didn't have any foreign character names on my drives, they are BOOTCAMP and Macintosh HD. BOOTCAMP is formatted NTFS. I tried reinstalling bootcamp all together and it's still giving me the same error. Could anyone offer any suggestions or fixes? Thanks much.

Did it work before?
Have you installed any fonts lately?
