Shatter+Displacement Map+Motion Tracking

I'm using a precomposed freezeframe of shatter as a displacement map for some footage to simulate a broken mirror look. It's not terribly elegant, but it works well enough. However, I need the cracks to move around in order to remain aligned with the footage, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that. Any ideas, either for a way to apply motion tracking to the displacement map, or simply another way to achieve the effect? Thanks.

[Collin Ryan] "I need the cracks to move around in order to remain aligned with the footage..."

I'm not exactly sure what you're doing, but you could parent the cracks to the other footage. Then when you animate the motion of the other footage, the cracks move with it.

Sorry, I'm having a hard time trying to articulate this. If the cracks were on an element that I was parenting to the footage, that would work. But I'm trying to actually apply the displacement map to the footage itself. I wish I could explain more clearly.
