when i render aa animation QT all footage has HDTV (rec. 709) profile embedded even in the render setting output.

when i open the file in QT and QT pro they have a different color look. The QT pro is what a want it to look like as the normal QT is dull looking and washed out. The QT pro looks just like the preview monitor in AE.

The question which version of QT do i believe?

QuickTime X scares me. I have not found a way to get it to display Animation-codec QuickTime files in a manner consistent with what I expect.

After Effects is properly color-managed, so you should believe that before you believe QT.

What do you need to do next with the file? What's the next step in your workflow?
