Hi,
i did an HD After Effects project for a client. it went well 'till he wrote me the output specs...

1- 1080P 24 Quicktime uncompressed.
 (no problem!)

2- Audio: 6 audio wave tracks encoded in Dolby D and Dolby AC3.
(does this can be done in AE?)

3- Include the color space conversion from HD to D-Cinema color space settings. (Whoa.... I just don't get a word out of this!!!)

Can someone explain me points 2 and 3? I would be so thankful...
Thank you a lot!

I can answer this one: no. After Effects is not a good audio application: it can't make 6 separate audio tracks. And I know of NO commonly-available piece of software that can create Dolby D and Dolby AC3.

I almost NEVER render a file containing audio, and I work with lip-sync audio all the time in Final Cut Pro. I import the audio from Final Cut Pro, but I only use it as a reference. I never have problems.

Regarding the digital cinema output:

Use color management in After Effects, and use the DCDM X'Y'Z' output profile for output. We have step-by-step instructions for that here. Yeah, that says CS4, but nothing significant has changed in this area in CS5 and CS5.5.

There's more about color management here.
