Hi there

I made a from my audio some keyframes to animate a layer.
-> thisComp.layer("track1").effect("Both Channels")("Slider")

is it possible, to add to this expression some values to influence the behavior?
it's working and it's fine but I would like to slow down the animation a little…

so is it possible to do it like this?:

thisComp.layer("track1").effect("Both Channels")("Slider")+time*10

or how can I change this expression to slow down the change of the values through the audio…?

You might get better answers on this in the After Effects Expressions forum [link] -- but I'd either use time-remapping [link] or valueAtTime [link]:

thisComp.layer("track1").effect("Both Channels")("Slider").valueAtTime(time/2)

This would run at half-speed; obviously, you could change the time/2 in the expression above to adjust the rate.
