Hello there,

I'm looking for a good tutorial on lighting a 3D model in after effects. A thorough google search has left me empty handed. I'm specifically lighting 3 white items, on a white background, and I would like them to reflect slightly on a white floor. (Like those apple ads.) My initial lighting attempts look - hilariously - like my sight and sound films from NYU (shadows everywhere and a badly exposed bakground :) So maybe I simple need a general lighting tutorial for product photography. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

what kind of 3d model- is it a 3d PSD layer, a model imported with Zaxwerks Invigorator or Pro animator, an extrudet shape with Free Form or are you talking about a 3d layer... Give more details.
As far as the reflection on the floor, the easiest way if you have a true 3d composition is to use 3D Reflector from Zaxwerks:
