I created a not uniform column. So, with a cloner I'm trying to cover it with tiles using the edges to create rows of tiles. The problem is that any circumference/edge has a different length & the clones distribution along the edge is always even.
If the top clones are even, the clones of the middle are separate. If the clones of the middle of the objects are even, the top clones are overlap.
I'm looking for a way in that all the clones rest even withour overlap, but if I use an effector (step, plain,...) all I get is a deformation on the clones to obtain the desire size. I want to recover the column with tiles but the tiles remain with the same aspect ratio.
I imagine in real life we can do that using x tiles on the middle rows and x - 1, x-2, x-3 tiles on successive rows. But I don't know how to get this result in C4D.
