I’ve created a load of textures within Substance Designer, designed to look like a series of different colour mixed plastic for a student architecture project I’m working on! The building is clad with these different colour panels in a random variated format. I’ve used the Variation Shader to randomly assign C4D materials to the surface, but these are imported bitmaps.
Now I’ve imported the materials direct as substance shader materials and converted these into materials that can be rendered via Vray4C4d. My question is however, how can I apply these materials into a variation shader so they can be randomly distributed across a surface?
I hope this is clear, I’m new to substance, vray and C4D so hoping that I’ve got all the terminology right and I am being coherent! Please ask if you have any questions.
