Hi all. I made different models, but I never had to work with PLA cache. I used to play with displacer, and then I kept the vertex animation in point cache. But at the moment I need the following - as I saw on MAYA like, but work there is not very comfortable for me. So I'm looking for how to implement this in Cinema 4D.
I have a model with Point Cache, or vertex animation. And I need to replace or change it into joint animation. How will I do this - I do not know.. In Maya i saw the one video where it is done by a certain script.
As I understand, it binds each joint to a certain vertex from the 3d mesh, and then bakes the location of the joints, which snap's on vertex of 3d mesh. But again I do not know how to do it in Cinema 4D. Perhaps there is a simpler way - but at the moment I could not translate the vertex animation into a joint animation.
If you tried to do this - please help. Many thanks if you help me to solve this problem.
