I want to create a billboard. There is a cube with a bend deformer. I want to have over that surface a cloner with a grid array setup ( the object mode does not work becaus eit places the cloner randomly and keeping the ability to animate this cloner. If I convert to polygons and bend it with the same deformer then it streches out really badly.
As well, I have a structure in the end, but to bend it I have to convert to polygons. Inside this structure I do have a cylinder that I want to animate using the Slice option.
Any idea how to use deformers with really converting to polygons?
