problem in lights ( light kit pro v2 ) c4d r17

i am a beginner in c4d and trying to apply this tutorial

so my light value in r17 different from his lights c4d older version

. the result should be like this

i notice one more thing when he change sky brightness only out side window change but for me the whole room be white

it's not the Lights it's the Global Illumination. GI has changed and improved since 2012. You can get the target image pretty close by changing GI to the Interior-Preview preset and changing the renderer to Standard. You can do the same thing with the Progressive Physical you had set up it just takes a lot longer (not that physical is bad, it's not. But sometimes the same result is a lot quicker in the 'other' renderer.

this is your scene with the settings he uses (which are in 17) at the end of the video. Interior - Preview (High Diffuse Depth) with the Maximum Depth set to 5 (though 16 works just fine and doesn't cost any time).

The only thing your scene is missing is the Physical Sky with the sun spun around so it comes in the window. (That's taking out the GSG sun - just going for his look). There's nothing else to it.

His image is brighter because he has way more windows but it's the same basic look

don't know myself, I use the Standard and Physical renderers but there are lots of people out there are using others.
