Baked Texture not working with surface color

I have a simple setup where I have a room that is going to exported for Unity. I'm trying to bake the lighting into the color channel as an option. So, I have a few colored lights, giving the room a slightly warmer look than if I used white lights. The lights are all Omni lights. I want to bake that look into the texture color channel (or as a separate file as an option), so the Unity guys don't have to match my lighting. I've tried every combination of checkboxes in the bake texture tag, and simply cannot get the effect of the lights to bake. Anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?
