Hi, I'm a Maya user switching over to Cinema 4D. Maya allows for multiple UV tiles for a single object for ultra high resolution detail. I was wondering if Cinema 4D allowed the use of multiple UV tiles? If so, how is it done?
You can use multiple tiles but it's not especially straightforward. Basically you just add additional textures/texture tags and then adjust the texture tag's "offset u" and "offset v" parameters to reference UVs that aren't on the main tile. You'll also have to turn off the texture tag's "tile" option.
